PROJECT INDIGO!
project indigo
Project Indigo is a CAS (creativity, action, service) project initiated by students from School of the Arts. We aim to champion greater equity in education through supporting the IPC CampusImpact. Guided by the United Nation Sustainable Development goal 4 of quality education for all, we aim to assist CampusImpact in helping children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds to provide subsidised learning opportunities to enhance their learning ability. Additionally, other goals that Project Indigo intends to achieve are championing greater equity in education, exposing the beneficiary at CampusImpact to the arts to provide holistic education, and raising funds to support the centre.

Their work started with overseas community involvements projects to nurture social and civic responsibilities in youths through experiential learning through service-learning community projects. As their focus shifted towards addressing local needs, programmes such as The Learning Curve, Study Buddy, and Evolve were subsequently added to impact youths in Singapore. Through working with schools, grassroots leaders, partner organisations, families in the community, as well as the youths themselves, they seek to provide each student who walks through their doors with the best possible chance at success.
